TUESDAY BLUE, & Im not just takln about my dress

OKAY, so let me tell you HAWTies Im sitting at my desk pissed & HAWTer than fish gease cuz I have to go to .............................................JURY DUTY today in an hour, these punk bastards!!! Yes I know that a juror is a real important task/job but Im not cut from that cloth! LOL, last time I got Jury duty which was about MMMMMMMMMMM, 4 years ago I was preggo with my Mini Maal/Monster, & they had the nerve to pick the preggo lady for a damn vehicular manslaughter case!!! Aitn that some ishhhhh, I had to sit thru that madness for a whole week & a half with a group of people that were not even close to my age group at all, very boring to say the least in the presence of that group. But the case itself was a trip & just sitting there & watchign teh families of both parties cry & have their words & the photos of the crime scene was just UGHHHHH a lot for my poor preggo soul at the time. 

But today aint it!!! I look way to cute for this madness!! I thought I was in the clear last nite when my info wasnt pulled & they told me to call in today......which I did. So hence this post!!! HAWTies this is now a pet ev of mines!!!! JURY DUTY!!! But let my ass get caught up for something (which is crazy since dont do anything illegal) Imma want the best jury around! FML right now on this note, but if they let me go early I guess I can enjoy the beautiful weather outside cuz I most DEF aint coming back to work today...... Happy Bad HAIR Monday!!!!!!!!!!1

Hey HAWTies HAPPY MONDAY, I'm sitting here at my desk wondering what to type to you all today. I really have nothing to talk about other than Me taking down my poetic Justice braids & trying to shave my own head on Sunday, well half of my head I didn't go for the whole gusto. NOT YET, & when I do I will not be doing it myself. Cutting hair is most def a skill that you have to master before you start getting paid for it LOL I know my skills wont get much money in my wallet LOL but it worked me for today until I get it lined up by a professional. 

So let's type about BAD hair days!!! And how to deal with it other than a hat or a scarf. I know me personally I will rock a bad hair style that I've done myself. Now if I got it done & it looks a mess that's different, please don't ask me why other than if I pay for it, HEFFA your going to fix it! PERIOD! I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels that way. But when I do my own hair, I guess its a sense of pride that wont let me sink into the bad hair day RUT. I know that the side of my head isn't even or lined up like I want, but Imma make it my own Regardless. Its fun to have a fearless spirit, and it works in your favor from time to time. So that would be my number #1 way to get thru a bad hair day is to make it your own, by any means necessary.  WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS THINK!!!!!!!!!! I really can careless. I really could, cuz nine times outta ten I wouldn't even rock the ish that person is wearing anyway so let them talk. LOL for give me for being a little evil but that's how it is in my mind LOL. ALL BS aside there is nothing wrong with being yourself & sometimes you find that out thru trail & error, so one bad hair day can turn into a lifetime of knowledge LOL please believe me try it out for yourselves....

I wanna know how my HAWTies deal with bad hair days??? I'm sure I'm not the only one that will rock out a bad hair Type to me HAWTies.......................

What to wear to a summer Wedding.................Congrats to my Girl Kitra!!!!

Hey HAWTies, I'm sitting hear at my desk thinking about what to wear to one my of goodest ( yep I typed it!) friend ever Kitra's wedding tomorrow afternoon. Normally I am the person that like to wear what she feels for that day whatever feeling I'm feeling that day, but that type of styling isn't going to work , for one I'm already HAPPY for them both, (her future husband has been a friend of ours for years before they got together, love them both) so the feeling is already there, plus their colors are blue & turquoise so I want to coordinate with that as well. I really haven't been to that many weddings in my life so when I get invited to one I like to look my best. I will post pics of the last wedding I attend about a month back for my Ex father-in -law, you would have sworn I was apart of the wedding party I was so on point with my colors & dress. But this is a Summer outdoor wedding so its a little different. 

Well I don't know the In's and outs of summer weddings & I will not sit here & act like I do. But I do know style so here are some looks that I came up with, I don't have any of these dress but the look is what I will try to copy today after work when I go shopping for my dress. The Look of my moment................ Poetic Justic braids

Hey HAWT girls!!! So for the past 2 weeks now Ive been rocking some ole skool Poetic Justice braids. YES! I know what some of you are thinking WTF is wrong with that child, well I like to think nothing. I saw solange rock'n them first & was like OK she brought it back but then a few weeks ago I came across this blog with this Beautiful blogger HAWTie by the name of Zizzi with the braids but she put her own spin on them. Check her out she is pretty awesomely dope

Okay Back to the story, so I told my BBf that I was going to bet braided up, & of course she didn't believe cuz I never get my braided, NEVER! But I didn't tell her that  I was going to do them myself LOL. Yes so after work I went straight the beauty supply & started putting in work, thinking to myself they wont take that long since their thick in size....................... well that was a Damn ass LIE. I was up til Damn near 4 in the morning braiding up this head of mines but the out come was worth it, at least for me. LOL

I like the outcome & I have gotten a lot of compliments but along with a few crazy stares LOL. But I don't mind them at all, I welcome them LOL. I know I'm crazy but that's me, you ain't gotta like what I rock even better for me. So I don't have to look ordinary. But any who I used hella ( yea I typed it) packs of Black n' gold, its very easy to work with not a lot of tangles as you braid so that's a plus, also my Cantu leave in conditioner & Eco Aloe gel on my hair & hands, it helps as you braid to keep the hands a little moist trust & believe all the hair rubbing on your hands can start to irritate the ISH outta you. Lastly I used a mixture of olive oil & coconut oil  mixture on my scalp. That's it!!

What to do when you have a................. WARDROBE MALFUNCTION

One of the most memorable Wardrobe Malfunctions in our time is Janet Jackson at the Superbowl, most think it was done purposely Who knows really, but didn't she bounce back like hella fast tho!!! LOL that moment when she realized was just very memorable to those of us who have experienced the mishaps with the GIRLS! Well most recently we have had Miss Nicki M, bless us with a shot of her Fake Bittes.

Side note: What is going on with Baby girl in the back, Is that another Nipple or something else?!?

Then the other day Miss Kelly Rowland gave a performance in a little S&M bra top & even her little tatas came out, most comments asked the question, Why didn't she feel them slipp'n out, I asked it too!

The only reason I could give is that maybe she was that into the performance, all that dancing & moving around she really didn't feel them coming out. None the less the ish is embarrassing as hell, & were common folk ( not really, but we don't get our pictures posted everyday) so just imagine how freaking embarrassed they must feel.

My story was at my 8th grade graduation field trip. We went to the Water slides of all places LOL. It was a blast that what I remember pretty much other than this one memory of a lot of us in the pool & I was playing around & was coming up from under the water & one of the girls, Miss Righty (she's a bit more sassier), slipped out I had no clue til ALL the girls in the pool gestured at it, while the guys just stared. I turned around very quickly slipped her backed in & had no choice but to laugh it off. Inside I was super heated & embarrassed at myself for letting it happen. More security is what I truly learned that day, also that you have to laugh at yourself sometimes as well cuz when one of my Nerdy guy friends told my that my nipple looked like a silver dollar I couldn't help but to LOL!!!!! 

Ish happens is the famous saying, and we all have gotten a fair share of shit, it can vary from Baby to Bulls but its how you deal with the situation handed to you. The girls are bound to bounce out a time or two depending on your choice of shirt & support!!!! Honestly they like to come out & have fun even when your not ready, so be prepared with thought (cause that's about the only thing you can be prepared for in this situation)   & a quick recovery LOL remember that its only a moment not your whole life you will be over in about an hour or maybe more. But really its not big deal everyone has seen them & that's pretty much that. K. And by the way HAWTies I can call out a few more stories about this topic LOL but we'll just stick to that one, not unless Y'all wanna share LOLOLOLOLOL.............

My NAPtural HAIR JOURNEY.......................

When I decided to go natural there really wasn't a reason to do so other than I just really didn't feel like perming my hair anymore. Seriously the whole process was just becoming to much for me. So I can't tell you exactly when I started the natural thing because I was rocking Dem front laces for a minute.

So I just say summer of 2010 is when it was official for me. I had no idea on how to take care of my hair at least not my natural hair........ so I went straight to Google & YouTube for help LOL & believe it or not, they have been real helpful tools specially YouTube. There are tons of natural hair videos on their with tons of tips & product reviews. But you will live in learn when it comes to the process of taking care of the hair on your head.

The very first times I tried to do my own hair I was very frustrated with the outcome & I think its because I just expected for my hair instantly change to the textured I wanted it to be LOL foolish ME!!!! My hair is my hair & I learned by trail & error. I got a lot of errors but guess what I rock that ish like no bodies business. Cause ya girl thinks she is HAWT no matter the time of day or if I have a bad hair day it happens, but if you pull it off correctly no one will notice that you are having a bad hair.!!! Try it!! LOL it worked. But the moment it clicked for me was when my bantu knots came out perfect because I moisturized the ish outta my hair & kept it wrapped in my satin cap, again you have to find what works for you.

I know that it was going to  a ruff journey but No one prepared me for the good looks & the WTF is she doing with her head looks, My grandfather was the first person to speak sum HATE my way one nite, when I had the whole family over for dinner (cant think of the occasion but it goes down in my kitchen) & were all having a great time & when he breaks out & says What the Heck is wrong with your hair, is that the new look" & my Mommy hits him with the YES it is & she looks good wearing it!! Damn I love that lady, she rocks like guitars. But I was then aware that not everyone will be on board with my decision which was fine with me. I'm not one to please every one anyway LOL. This is be a HARD thing to over come HAWTies so don't let that discourage you from March'n in your journey.

I never wanted to do a BC ( big chop) I planned to grow an inch of Naptural then cut an inch of permed hair off until it was all gone. But it didn't happen that way.............. My little brother got killed & it rocked my world in more ways than one!!!! I went thru a WHOLE bunch of feelings & emotions, it was just a for real outta body experience like my soul hurt not my body. I was in my own world in my head & I got to chopping off my hair just like that!  My perm was gone & I felt even more vulnerable then, than what I felt before! It was a very unique moment for myself, cause I didn't feel pretty! LOL Yea I know me of all folks didn't feel pretty WTF! But it was more than my hair, it really was. Long hair kinda make you feel secure cuz almost everyone has it & its more accepting in our society & as a black woman HAIR is  made to be just as important as out kids LOL. Think about it HAWTies...........truly do. We can go over the whole GOOD hair thing but we've all seen the movie ( I hope) & know there is much more than tracks attached to the heads of Black women.

Okay back to the story, so after I cut my hair off I realized that I still need to get outta this house & see my family & go to this funeral. I wasn't ready to show off my new do with everyone cuz i still wasn't comfy with what I had did to myself. Now don't get my wrong HAWTies I didn't just cut it off like F it LOL I actually cit it into a style. Honestly I have no idea why I wasn't comfy with the look yet other than pure shock. But I bantu knotted it up & rocked a wig the rest of the week, I love my all curly wig cuz everyone thinks its really mines LOL. But as soon as it was over & I seen my brother layed to rest I was OK with it all even myself!

The next day after the funeral I stayed home & got myself together cuz I needed to go back to work, not cuz they were forcing me to but because I felt the need to & that wig came off the knots were undone & I walked into my job like I was the ONE, which I am in my world. LOL & guess what..................everyone loved it!!!  That made me feel  much better still a little concerned with it but overall I was ok with me. Its still a difficult thing, confidence but Im getting it LOL.  ( I will post pictures at another time of my short do)

So I typed all of this to say that HAWTies that everyone journey's is different & some may be a lot more easier than most. But hang in there is the main thing, cuz this is something that you really want to try then nothign should discourage you, not even opinions. LOL. People are going to talk no matter what you do so you might as well fulfill your own happiness. I will keep you HAWTies updated with different products & techniques will further post, Im think'n videos to make it more personal.
