Happy Hump day!!!! Well I'm sure you all know by now that today means its Fashion ODE day! Today is a last known for her Harsh manners, her numerous surgeries, straight comedian, also we love her for her snappy lines about celebrities!! She is no holds bars, who is this maverick........





Miss Joan Rivers, she is truly a fashion Queen! The one & only Fashion officer herself! This YOUNG lady has been on the scene since the 50's & has sparked tons of fashion/style. This fashion guru got her start as an actress & her first Roll was playing a lesbian. That right there shows how strong willed & free spirited she is, c'mon lesbians in the 50's!!!

In the sixties is where her comedic side came forward! Playing the 'bait' on the classic Candid Camera. Later that decade she released 2 comedy albums, she also had a short lived talk show!





Now I can go on & on about Joan but what fun is that!!! I want you to do your own research & form your own opinion of her. Most folks think she is just this loud mouth raspy voice evil bad talking heffa! And others (like myself) thinks she is a dominant, independant beast In these fashion streets!!!! 2012 Billboard Awards Red Carpet looks

Hey HAWTies Hey,

Happy Monday to you all!! (grumpy voice) another weekend has came to a holt!! But the weekend came to an end with the billboard awards show & Chris Brown shut it down with his Foinnne self! Lol yea I know that's someone child but shoot come sit on this momma's lap!! Let's see what I got in my purse for you!! -it's been a long day so far HAWTies!

This looks like her grandma Dollie table cloth that she put over her under wear. The fit is awful shows none of her figure. Sorry Nelly don't like this at all!





A. Keys hips looking good in this All black body hugging gown don't know the designer but sista is wearing that dress!!





Carrie Underwood looks like the good witch in this dress. Yea it's cute but I would love to see her in something edgy-er!





Katy Perry has been kills em ever since the break up of her & her ex hubby!! She looks AWESOME, Russell SMH @ you for whatever you did to F this up. Katy I wanna like it, you can kiss me!





Taylor Swift, HAWT girl!! Get it HAWTie in a red dress!!! She looks sexy & I think that may be the first time I've used Taylor & sexy in the same line!!! Loves this on her.





Miley looks like she got hit with Murphy Brown's closet (dont knw who that is google it, showing my age) with a mop for hair! Lots of sites have been oohing over this look. To me if her hair was more on point it would be a nice look. Til then. NO BUENO!!!

These last 2 red carpet looks are the best of the night for me.......





Usher Just changed to game with the colorful suit!! Yea I don't care who says what this is HAWT, picture him & a sea of black & navy suits!! HAWTies it's always great to be fashionable awkward!! Points to you Usher cuz yours looks have been if-y lately





Brany aka Brandnu Giving all kinds of Face & Fierceness!! All the while rocking the natural look!!! Nude dress is ultra sexy. Although we haven't heard any new good music from her. She showed up & showed out in this dress.

Nappy Friday & Lupus Awareness Day

Hey HAWTies Hey,

We made it through another week!!! It hasn't been an easy week for myself but I Thank GOD that I got through it but you know it never as worse as it seems. And I'm truly thankful for him pulling a friend & her family through a battle with her lupus this week! I've been knowing Markisha since High school & we won't say how long that's been LOL but for as long as I've known her she has always been a great spirited person to be around & when we connected on FB I was happy to see she has a beautiful family & is a dedicated & extremely loving mother! But I learned just recently that she was diagnosed with lupus a while back & For you HAWTies not aware of what lupus is...


Lupus is an autoimmune disease where the body's immune system becomes hyperactive and attacks normal, healthy tissue. This results in symptoms such as inflammation, swelling, and damage to joints, skin, kidneys, blood, the heart, and lungs.

Under normal function, the immune system makes proteins called antibodies in order to protect and fight against antigens such as viruses and bacteria. Lupus makes the immune system unable to differentiate between antigens and healthy tissue. This leads the immune system to direct antibodies against the healthy tissue - not just antigens - causing swelling, pain, and tissue damage.

Now you would never ever think that Markisha has this disease from her timeline! I mean this number one mom is always doting about her children! From cooking her tail off, seriously y'all I ain't tastes it YET! but I can tell by the pics sista can throw down! To supporting every activity her kids do! Very dedicated & hands on mom. That's why it shocked me to hear she was under the weather. I was able to gain more knowledge from the site Markisha's oldest daughter Monica made in her honor. Since today is National Lupus Awareness day, Markisha asked her friends to wear purple in honor of support for the day & ......




All day I've been told how pretty I look & I've taken that opportunity to tell everyone around about Lupus & Monica's site. Had Markisha not had this I would've never educated myself in the disease. Please everyone keep Markisha & her family in your prayers & please if your able to please donate!!!

We are half way there............................Friday is just over the horizon. So you know what that mean it's that time for our weekly Fashion ODE!!! Yes HAWTies I know I missed last week, but it was my Middle Son's bday week & I had to hold it down on the home front!! Y'all all know it Hump Day, & that means it's FASHION ODE day!!!!! Today our ODE goes out to..............................

SWEATERS!!! Yes the cozy little or over sized garment that is made to keep you warm & toasty on a cold day.

Quick information:

A sweater,is a knit garment intended to cover the torso and arms, popular with both men and women, and children of all ages. It is often worn over a shirt, blouse, T-shirt, or other top, but may also be worn alone as a top. Sweaters tend to be, and in earlier times always were, made from wool; however, they can be made of cotton, synthetic fibers, or some combination thereof. Sweaters are maintained by washing, and the use of a lint roller.

The term "sweater" is a catch-all for various types of knit garments. A fundamental division is between a cardigan (which opens in front) and a pullover (which does not). If the sweater has no sleeves, it is generally called a sweater vest or tank top, or, in the UK, very commonly a "sleeveless pullover" which will very usually have a V neck and can be worn semi-formally; in UK parlance such a sleeveless garment would only be called a "tank top" if it had a square or scooped neck and a generally juvenile appearance.; a "vest" in British English refers to the same item as "undershirt" in American English.

A garment of this type was originally named a sweater either because it was designed to absorb sweat, or the garment was designed to promote a sweat during exercise. It has now become a household name, and other styles of garment (as named above) have kept the original term.

420 HIstory, what's really the deal with 4/20?

Happy Friday Huns!!! Today is April 20th & that may not mean much to most of you...... But to the others today is a national holiday! Ok so folks who don't know, please stop scratching & remove finger from head..... I will try to buzz y'all in on the Hopla! And for my 420ers I will give you a quick history on where the day originated from.......I wil keep it quick cuz I know reading ain't what you wanna do today, LOL!!!!

4/20 I'd know it  as National smoke out day or Burn out day, there are plenty of creative names for this day but what ever you call it, I know you've wondered where the day came from? Who thought of this day to be THE DAY to celebrate weed? I know dang well I'm not the only person. Well they sat it started in Tha Town (Oakland) (sidenote: really tho!) Christmas weekend with a flyer for The Grateful Dead

"We are going to meet at 4:20 on 4/20 for 420-ing in Marin County at the Bolinas Ridge sunset spot on Mt. Tamalpais,"

The flyer came complete with a 420 back story:

"420 started somewhere in San Rafael, California in the late '70s. It started as the police code for Marijuana Smoking in Progress. After local heads heard of the police call, they started using the expression 420 when referring to herb - Let's Go 420, dude!"

That flyer was sent to The Huffington Postt as proof of where this day started, but in a May 1991 issue of High Times posted this story:

 But not totally satisfied with that story either the Hunt for 420 went further & come to find out The day 420 was Coined in 1971 by a group of 5 San Rafeal high schoolers called, The Waldo's. They claim to be the originators of this code/day. Although they have NO PROOF, they do have items from the 70's with the original postmarks & their story which they told to The Huffington Post goes like this...

" One day in the Fall of 1971 - harvest time - the Waldos got word of a Coast Guard service member who could no longer tend his plot of marijuana plants near the Point Reyes Peninsula Coast Guard station. A treasure map in hand, the Waldos decided to pluck some of this free bud.

The Waldos were all athletes and agreed to meet at the statue of Loius Pasteur outside the school at 4:20, after practice, to begin the hunt.

"We would remind each other in the hallways we were supposed to meet up at 4:20. It originally started out 4:20-Louis and we eventually dropped the Louis," Waldo Steve tells The Huffington Post

The first forays out were unsuccessful, but the group kept looking for the hidden crop. "We'd meet at 4:20 and get in my old '66 Chevy Impala and, of course, we'd smoke instantly and smoke all the way out to Pt. Reyes and smoke the entire time we were out there. We did it week after week," says Steve. "We never actually found the patch."
But they did find a useful codeword. "I could say to one of my friends, I'd go, 420, and it was telepathic. He would know if I was saying, 'Hey, do you wanna go smoke some?' Or, 'Do you have any?' Or, 'Are you stoned right now?' It was kind of telepathic just from the way you said it," Steve says. "Our teachers didn't know what we were talking about. Our parents didn't know what we were talking about."
